El programa Creamedia impulsa el sector de les indústries culturals amb 9 noves startups – Servei de Premsa

The Creamedia incubation program has concluded its 23rd edition with the support of nine startups in the creative and cultural industries sector. Led by Barcelona Activa in collaboration with the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals and supported by the Fundació Catalunya Cultura Productores Audiovisuals de Catalunya and the Fundació Carulla, the program provided personalized mentoring, training, networking activities, and coworking space for six months to foster synergies among companies.

In this 2025 edition, the following startups participated:
– Lemuria Continente Cultural: Cultural Center in Poblenou aiming to create a community of diverse artists
– Tinta en Vena: Platform supporting self-publishing of books and self-distribution through online environments
– Travelling Note: Agency of sound professionals for events
– Behind The Scenes: Agency representing shows and performing arts, and selling services and sponsorships

The selection criteria included innovation, impact on the city, scalability or growth potential in a globalized environment, social impact, team, presentation quality, and technical and economic viability of the projects.

The program helps mature projects and improve their positioning strategy, market value proposition, differentiation from competitors, fundraising, and other communication and legal aspects. The typical profile of participating entrepreneurs is professionals between 25 and 35 years old with experience and motivation to bring innovation to the market.

The Creamedia program has been instrumental in creating and consolidating notable projects such as Sra Gallery, Wimen Festival, Filmtopia, Plou Design, Aldo Atypical, Collectivo Animal Plas PLas Scinions La Gare d’Art Inartem, Bridge 48, and Reolivar. The next edition will start in October 2025, with applications open and accessible through the website until October 5th.
