Barcelona desactiva l’alerta per risc d’inundacions després de les pluges.

The Barcelona City Council deactivated the Municipal Emergency Action Plan for the risk of drainage insufficiency in the alert phase at 8:00 p.m. this Thursday, as reported by the city council in a statement.

The City Council announced the activation of this plan on Wednesday due to the forecast of heavy rain in the city and advised the public to avoid flood-prone areas and at home, to remove objects that could be carried away by water and to disconnect electronic devices.

After the weather situation concluded, the city council reported that no incidents related to the rain were recorded, which were mainly located offshore and in other regions.
