CaixaBank Wealth Management has awarded the Solti breast cancer research group in the eighth edition of the Philanthropy Awards granted by the Barcelona territorial direction, as reported in a statement on Tuesday.
The awards recognize initiatives that stand out for their «altruistic and supportive» work and for contributing significantly to improving society.
Solti is an academic group of clinical and academic research in oncology that has been «driving scientific talent» for 30 years and promoting innovative trials to improve the prognosis and quality of breast cancer patients.
«Their pioneering model has transformed clinical research in our country, standing out for initiatives such as the HOPE program, which facilitates equitable access to precision medicine for patients across the country,» the entity added.
In total, CaixaBank Wealth Management has awarded eleven prizes, one for each territorial direction, which will receive 5,000 euros to support their cause.
