Cupra will be for the first time the official automotive partner of the 2025 EE BAFTA awards and will provide its electric Tavascan fleet to the stars and guests of the gala that will take place on February 16, 2025 in London (United Kingdom), according to a statement released on Thursday.
«The alliance between Cupra and the 2025 EE BAFTA awards reflects our mutual commitment to innovation, creativity, and the world of cinema,» said Cupra CEO, Wayne Griffiths.
On the other hand, Seat and Cupra’s UK Managing Director, Marcus Gossen, stated that the Cupra Tavascan «represents the future of driving, combining desire, performance, and sportiness, making this global event the perfect place to showcase it.»
BAFTA’s Chief Commercial Officer, Anthony Cole-Johnson, welcomed CUPRA: «As a brand known for promoting cinema and supporting the next generation of filmmakers worldwide, CUPRA is the ideal partner to help us in our mission to celebrate and foster creative talent.»
The brand counts with actor ambassadors like Daniel Brühl and Spanish director JA Bayona, and in May 2024, Cupra promoted dream creators in collaboration with the Superior School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of Catalonia (ESCAC).
