The president of the government is in London for the summit in Ukraine
King Felipe VI arrived this Sunday at 19:55 at the National Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) in Barcelona to preside over the inaugural dinner of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which this year sees the absence of the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez, in London for the summit of European leaders in Ukraine.
The president of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa-Has, received him unlike his predecessor, Pere Aragonès, as well as ministers Óscar López and Jordi here.
Inside, he was greeted by the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Teresa Ribera; the government delegate, Carlos Prieto; the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni; the mayor of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, David Quirós, and the councilors Alícia Romero and Jaume SÀmper.
The king also greeted the president of the GSMA Council, Marc Murtra; the Director General, Mats Granryd; the president, John Hoffman, and the president of Fira de Barcelona, Pau Relat.
In addition, he greeted the president of the Chamber of Spain, José Luis Bonet; the president of the Chamber of Barcelona, Josep Santacreu; the Director General of Fira de Barcelona, Constantí Serrallonga, and the CEO of Mwcapital Barcelona, Francesc Fajula, among others.
During the dinner, the king will preside over the main table and will be accompanied by Illa, Rull, Ribera, López, here, Prieto, Collboni, and Quiró, among others.
