La Copa renova la seva imatge i prioritzarà la llengua catalana i l’habitatge digna

The Copa has renewed and updated its image after a process of «strategic reflection» and has embarked on a new political phase, with the Catalan language, the right to housing, and the economic model of Catalonia as priorities on the path to the 2027 municipal elections.

The party has unveiled a new version of its logo, in a darker yellow with more prominence given to the star, as part of its renewed commitment framed within the «Buildïm el País» campaign, this Sunday in Capellades (Barcelona), as reported in a statement.

The spokesperson for the National Secretariat of the organization, Ms. Morena, explained that today marks the beginning of a new phase with an updated, bold, and sharp Copa: «A phase in which the Copa has come out to clearly state that the future is not written, but we will start writing it.»

Horizon at the municipal level

The party is updating itself to face the social, economic, and national challenges of all the Catalan countries, with the horizon set on the 2027 municipal elections and «with the will to explain more clearly.»

The Secretary-General of the Copa, Non Casadevall, emphasized the importance of no longer being «a country of pigs and tourists» and assured that they are not afraid to talk about the industry or take on the challenge of energy production or food production.

«We are the yes to the rent strike of La Caixa’s apartments, the yes to an industry that generates jobs and produces what we need, the yes to quality public transportation,» he added.

No second territory

The councilor of the city of Moià (Barcelona), Lakshmi Roset, said that the party aims to build a Catalonia «without first and second territories, where everyone can live with dignity in their city, with work, housing, and guaranteed public services.»

Therefore, the Copa proposes alternatives to the dependence on tourism, industrial concentration, or labor precarity in certain territories, with a clear commitment to economic diversification and democratic economic planning.
