The B-Travel Hall, held last Friday through Sunday at the MontjuiC venue of Fira in Barcelona, has exceeded 26,000 visitors in its 2025 edition, promoting a more sustainable and quality tourism, focusing on Easter and summer vacations.
B-Travel 2025 featured over 120 direct exhibitors and 600 indirect ones, advocating for a more respectful tourism through the publication of the responsible traveler’s decalogue, with tips to mitigate the impact of tourism on the environment, according to the organization in a Sunday press release.
Attendees showed a preference for nearby destinations such as Catalonia, Aragon, Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Galicia, and Extremadura, with particular interest in the cities of Ceuta and Melilla, highlights of this year’s edition.
Regarding international offerings, Ceará (Brazil) and the Dominican Republic were the two most requested destinations by visitors.
The President of the organization, Martí Sarrate, stated that the event has been «pioneering» in its commitment to a more sustainable activity and advocated for policies to promote sustainable tourism.
