A spectacular renewal
Lamine Yamal’s renewal is a testament to the solidity of the explosion project. It is a revelation, as few are mentioned in the global football scene, starting with his debut on April 29, 2023, at just 15 years old. Since that day, Rocafonda has only grown in importance without neglecting its Fun, courageous, and white essence.
Key in titles and holder of several records
In just 7 years, he would enter the spotlight and start dazzling everyone. Now, even before reaching adulthood, he is already a reference at FC Barcelona, key to winning the league, Copa, Super Cup, and the Triple Consolidated as one of the best players in the world. Because he is not just a pretty player, but a decisive one too. He already has 106 appearances with the first team and a collection of almost endless records: from the youngest goal-scorer in the history of the league, Copa, and Super Cup, to being the youngest to surpass 100 appearances with Barça, among many others.
In his short spell so far, he has managed to score 25 goals and provide 34 assists, A feat that may not cause chaos among rival defenses by himself, but mostly benefits from his classmate teammates, with whom he has already woven synergies that bring much joy. On the right, with an unquenchable Jules Kunde. Inside, paired with Pedri, Dani Olmo, or Fermin. He also constantly seeks the left-hand dagger that is Raphinha or always finds Lewandowski’s runs or Ferran’s scraps to leave them alone in front of the goalkeeper.
He will continue to decide many games… with his Barça
Many times, Lamine Yamal is the one who accelerates the play to turn it into a goal. And he has done so in key cases and matches, shining brightly in the four Clásicos they won this season and in the championship qualifiers. All this in recent months has had an impact on individual awards such as Golden Boy, the Kopa Trophy, or the Laureus Award for the best revelation athlete. A list that will need to be updated as the seasons go by. And he will defend, at least until 2031, defending his Barça colors.
