More than 115,000 people participated on Saturday in the Night of the Museums visiting 94 teams and museum spaces in the metropolitan area of Barcelona from 7 pm to 1 am.
The Barcelona Institute of Culture highlighted the figure because it was also the night when the Eurovision festival was broadcasted, as reported this Sunday in a statement.
Visitors enjoyed activities that included guided tours, artistic actions, concerts, screenings, dance, or workshops, with the most visited being the Museum of the History of Barcelona (9,038 at its headquarters), MNAC (8,000), CCCB (5,526), Cosmocaixa (4,811), Macba (4,502), Badalona Museum (4,324), L’Hospitalet Museum (3,821), Maritime Museum (2,595), and the modernist site of Sant Pau (2,589).
