It’s time to start. After a successful season and a month and a half of vacation for the Barça team, FC Barcelona is back in action in July to start the 2025/26 season.
Return to work on the 13th
The kickoff will be on Sunday, July 13th. This is the day when the players and coaching staff will be called to Joan Gamper Sports City, where the Catalans will undergo the usual medical check-ups at the beginning of the season.
A day later, on Monday, July 14th, the ball will start rolling at Barça de Can for the photoshoots, and the Barça players will undergo a double training session, with one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
July 24th, in Japan
The next important date in July is the 24th when the Barça Asian tour will begin. The first team will depart from Barcelona towards Japan, where three days later, on July 27th, they will kick off this tour. The Catalans will visit Vissel Kobe at 7:00 pm Japanese time (12 noon in Barcelona) at the Noevir Kobe Stadium, which has a capacity of 30,000 spectators. This will be the third time they face each other after doing so in 2019 and 2023. In both years, Barça won 0-2.
The tour will continue to South Korea, mainly in Seoul. On the last day of the month, July 31st, the Catalans will play against Seoul FC. The match will start at 8:00 pm Japanese time (1:00 pm in Barcelona) and will be played at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, the venue of the 2002 World Cup, which hosted Japan and Korea. It will be the first encounter between both teams.
