The second week of preseason. Tuesday, July 22, the first team of Barcelona FC returned to training at Esportiva Joan Gamper Ciutat. After a day off, they were back on the field. The players stepped onto the grass at Camp Tito Vilanova at 9:30 am for the morning session, and then again at 6:00 pm for the second training session of the day.
During the day, Hansi Flick had all the players available. The Barça coach also included Raony Bardghi, a dynamic player from the first team, and four players from Barça B: Toni Fernández, Guille Fernández, Jofre Torrents, and Pedro Fernández ‘Dro’.
Marc-André Ter Stegen and Dani Rodríguez were absent. The two players were working on physical conditioning outside of the group.
The last sessions before the tour
So, the second week of training has already begun. A special week because on Thursday, the team will travel to Japan to start the Asian tour. Therefore, Wednesday will be the last training day. They will have a morning session at Esportiva Ciutat before heading to Japan, where Barcelona will play their first preseason match against Vissel Kobe (Sunday at 19:00, 12:00 in Catalonia).
