La portavoz del Govern y consellera de Territorio, Sílvia Paneque, ha desvinculado la negociación presupuestaria con ERC de las negociaciones sobre las competencias aeroportuarias y la creación de una autoridad aeroportuaria de Catalunya, que el Govern acordó con los republicanos en el marco del pacto de investidura a Salvador Illa.
En rueda de prensa este martes tras la reunión del Consell Executiu, ha explicado que la de las competencias aeroportuarias es una carpeta «que se lleva trabajando desde el inicio de la legislatura».
«Continuamos un trabajo iniciado, si no recuerdo mal, en octubre o en noviembre de 2024 con ERC para ver el máximo nivel de colaboración y de gestión que podemos tener con el marco normativo vigente», ha destacado la consellera al ser preguntada por si esta podría ser una de las cuestiones a poner sobre la mesa después de que ERC instara al Govern a proponer nuevos espacios de soberanía mejores que el traspaso del IRPF.
Preguntada por el acuerdo de traspaso de siete nuevas competencias aerportuarias a Euskadi y la creación de un órgano bilateral Euskadi-Estado para coordinar la gestión de los tres aeropuertos vascos, Paneque ha explicado que la realidad de País Vasco y Catalunya es diferente y que la catalana es «de mayor complejidad», and has defended that the Govern will continue working on the investiture agreement.
«No other autonomous community in Spain will have more competences than Catalonia» in the airport sector, highlighted the spokesperson of the Govern, who insisted that they will work on this issue within the current regulatory framework.
BUDGET NEGOTIATIONS
Regarding the budgets and asked whether the changes in the central Government, with the departure of the former First Vice President and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, could benefit the conversations with ERC, Paneque has valued the work done by Montero and has indicated that the Govern will continue «working in the same way as now» with Finance.
«We do not link it to specific individuals. It is a negotiation that we have been carrying out and will continue to do so in the same way we have done so far,» Paneque emphasized.
She also specified that there is no specific timeline for the start of budget negotiations with the republicans after the Govern withdrew its Budget proposal and committed to continue talking with ERC to advance in an agreement during the current session period, which ends in July.
