Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) handed out its international bridal fashion awards on Saturday night: Isabel Sanchis (best bridal gown), Lorena Formoso (best bridal collection), Ines Di Santo (Best Red Carpet Collection), and Stella McCartney, who received an honorary career recognition.
The gala of the III Barcelona Bridal & Fashion Award was presented by designer and TV host Randy Fenoli to over 500 guests, according to Fira de Barcelona, in a statement released this Sunday.
Representatives from established brands, emerging talents in bridal fashion, designers, buyers attending the fair, influencers, and specialized media from around the world were present.
The director of BBFW, Albasarí Caro, highlighted at the beginning of the gala that these awards celebrate «the creativity, innovation, and talent of those who define the course» of international bridal fashion and thanked the involvement of Fira de Barcelona, the Generalitat, companies, and professionals in the bridal sector.

The international jury of 22 experts in the fashion world selected winners in 6 categories: best bridal gown for Isabel Sanchis (Valencia), best bridal collection for Lorena Formoso (Madrid), best Red Carpet Collection for Ines Di Santo, Best Image Campaign for Stephane Rolland, Industry Impact for Giambattista Valli, and Wedding Planner Destination for Bianco Bouquet (Italy).
The 6 honorary awards were the Barcelona brand for Teresa Helbig, professional career for Stella McCartney, strategic partner for Justin Alexander, historical brand of BBFW for Cymbeline, design for Elly Haute Couture, and public award for Raquel López.
All of them received an exclusive handmade piece by Laura Carmona and Carol Pascual from Valencia.
